Cloud Certifications Overview

An independent, unofficial guide to three entry-level cloud certifications — not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, or Google.

No prerequisites, any major: all three certifications below are foundational, non-technical exams open to anyone — no prior IT experience, coding, or specific degree required. They're reachable by a current undergrad right now, and each is a common on-ramp before more advanced, role-based cloud certifications.

How closely this platform's mock exams match the real thing

Each mock exam draws the same number of questions as the real exam — 65 for AWS CLF-C02, 50 for Azure AZ-900, 50 for Google Cloud Digital Leader — in the same time window (60–90 minutes), pulled fresh and reshuffled from a bank of hundreds of original questions per certification. No two attempts are the same set or order.

A note on scoring

All three providers use a scaled score (out of 1000, or an equivalent scale) rather than publishing an exact raw percent-correct cutoff — "~70%" is the commonly cited approximate pass line for each. This platform's mock exam scores are a straightforward percent-correct, useful as a study signal rather than an exact prediction of the scaled score.
